Is this a real problem for you ? Or can you just upgrade and use psycopg2 ?
Pyscopg2 has been here for a long time now and I'm not even sure psycopg
is still maintained. In theory, logilab.common.db is supposed to support
transparently pgdb, pyscopg, psycopg2 or pyPgSQL but our day-to-day usage is
based on pysocpg2, so I'm not suprised that other modules don't work out of
box with CubicWeb.
