[Python-projects] Problems with latest astng or common or with setuptools/easy_install?

Sorry, but we do not have time for eggs.

My opinion is stated there
http://mail.python.org/pipermail/distutils-sig/2008-September/010097.html
and in other messages sent to distutils-sig a few days before or after
that. Titles are "python package management sucks", "just use debian",
etc.

Please someone in favour of eggs step up and help solve this.
