I know both distributions are not meant to be compatible. I even
acknowledged that on my first email ;-)

Last time I checked, Debian Unstable also had a pylint
package. Nonetheless you provide your own unofficial repository, which I
guess is to make it easier for users to use the very latest version of
it, which is what I am after.
I just pointed out that that repository could be serving more users with
a slight change in the installing scripts.
